DMFC’s pleated filter cartridges are designed to provide maximum filtration efficiency by offering a large surface area and high dirt-holding capacity. These cartridges are ideal for a variety of industrial applications, ensuring optimal filtration performance. We offer three key types of pleated filter cartridges, each with unique characteristics to meet specific filtration needs:

  1. Nominal Pleated Filters (APZ):
    The APZ series is designed for nominal filtration, providing a cost-effective solution for general filtration applications. These filters offer high dirt-holding capacity and long service life, making them ideal for pre-filtration and low-demand filtration tasks. With a pleated design, the APZ filters maximize surface area, ensuring efficient particle retention and minimal pressure drop.

  2. Absolute Pleated Filters (APA):
    The APA series offers absolute filtration, providing precise and consistent particle retention down to micron levels. These filters are perfect for applications requiring critical contamination control, such as in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and electronics industries. The pleated design of the APA ensures high flow rates and extended filter life, offering excellent protection for sensitive downstream processes.

  3. Absolute Depth Filters (APD):
    The APD series combines the benefits of depth filtration with absolute-rated filtration. These filters capture particles throughout the depth of the media, providing superior dirt-holding capacity while ensuring absolute filtration performance. The APD is suitable for applications requiring high contaminant loads, offering both depth and surface filtration in one cartridge for enhanced protection and efficiency.

DMFC’s depth nominal filter elements are designed to provide effective particle retention throughout the entire depth of the filter media, ensuring high dirt-holding capacity and reliable filtration performance. These filters are ideal for applications where nominal filtration is sufficient and where cost-effective, high-efficiency filtration is required. Our Depth Nominal Filter Elements line includes a range of products tailored to different industrial needs:

  1. Bag Filter Elements (BF):
    The BF series offers reliable and economical filtration solutions for applications requiring high-volume contaminant removal. These filters are designed to be used within bag filter housings, ensuring easy installation, replacement, and maintenance. They are commonly used in industries such as chemical processing, water treatment, and food and beverage, where large particles and high contaminant loads need to be efficiently captured.

  2. Jumbo Pleated Filters (JP) & Super Pleated Filters (SP):
    The JP and SP series provide large surface areas in a compact design, allowing for high dirt-holding capacity and extended service life. These pleated filters are ideal for high-flow applications where the demand for filtration capacity is significant. The JP series is perfect for environments that require quick filtration of large volumes, while the SP series offers additional depth for capturing finer particles. Both series are widely used in industries like water treatment, petrochemical, and power generation, where performance and longevity are critical.

  3. Metal Filter Cartridges (SMF):
    The SMF series is designed for applications requiring robust, long-lasting filtration solutions. Made from stainless steel or other durable metals, these filters can withstand extreme temperatures, pressures, and corrosive environments. They are ideal for challenging industrial processes such as high-temperature filtration, chemical processing, and oil and gas applications. The SMF cartridges are reusable and can be cleaned, offering a cost-effective solution over time while maintaining excellent filtration efficiency.

  1. Model Numbers: From 1DB2 to 16DB3.
  2. Flow Rate (m³/hr): Ranging from 5–240 m³/hr, depending on the model.
  3. Nozzle Size (A/B): Measured in mm, ranging from 40 to 250 mm.
  4. Outside Diameter (mm): The external diameter of the filter housing varies from 200 mm to 910 mm.
  5. Length of Tank (mm): Tank lengths range from 500 mm to 1100 mm, depending on the model.
  6. Bag Quantity: Each model can hold between 1 to 16 filter bags (7″ x 32″L).

This product line is designed to accommodate different flow rates and operational needs, offering flexibility for various industrial filtration applications.

Non-Woven Depth Filter Cartridges (ADM)

The ADM series utilizes non-woven depth media, which is structured to capture particles as fluid passes through the multiple layers of the cartridge. Unlike surface filters that capture contaminants only on the surface, the ADM filters trap particles within the filter’s depth, offering superior performance in applications that demand high contaminant removal capacity.

  1. High Dirt-Holding Capacity:
    The layered structure of the non-woven media allows the filter to trap more particles, making it ideal for applications where extended filter life and fewer change-outs are necessary.

  2. Nominal Filtration:
    These filters provide nominal filtration, meaning they can efficiently remove a specified percentage of particles of a particular size. This makes them well-suited for general-purpose filtration tasks, including pre-filtration or for processes where absolute filtration is not required.

  3. Versatility:
    ADM filters can handle a wide range of liquids, including water, chemicals, and even viscous fluids, making them suitable for a variety of industries such as water treatment, food and beverage, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.

  4. Cost-Effective Solution:
    Due to their long service life and high contaminant-holding capacity, the ADM filters provide a cost-effective filtration solution by reducing maintenance and filter replacement frequency.

Inline Type (Clamp & Eye Nut/ Swing Bolt)

DMFC offers high-quality Cartridge Filter Housings designed for inline filtration processes. These housings provide efficient and reliable containment for filter cartridges, making them ideal for a variety of industrial applications requiring clean and safe fluid processing. The housings come in multiple sizes and configurations to handle different flow rates and filtration needs.

  • Clamp & Eye Nut/Swing Bolt Design: This feature allows for easy opening and closing, ensuring quick and secure access to the filter cartridges for maintenance and replacement.
  • Versatile Nozzle Sizes and Flow Rates: The housings support a wide range of flow rates, from 0.5 m³/hr to 18-27 m³/hr, depending on the model. Nozzle sizes vary from 15 mm to 50 mm, accommodating different pipeline connections.

Automatic Strainers

Automatic Strainers - Basket & Cartridge Types

DMFC offers a range of Automatic Strainers designed for effective and continuous filtration with minimal manual intervention. These strainers are ideal for processes that require uninterrupted filtration and self-cleaning mechanisms, ensuring efficient removal of contaminants from liquids in industrial systems. DMFC provides three main types of automatic strainers, each with unique cleaning methods:

Types of Automatic Strainers:

  1. Basket Type (DWBF) – Back Flushing
    This type uses a back-flushing mechanism to clean the filter without halting the process. The DWBF series allows liquid to flow in the reverse direction periodically, flushing away trapped particles. This is particularly effective in removing larger solid contaminants, reducing downtime, and maintaining continuous operations.

  2. Basket Type (DWBB) – Brushing
    The DWBB series utilizes a brushing mechanism to clean the filter by brushing off the particles that accumulate on the filter screen. This method is motor-driven and ensures continuous cleaning, making it suitable for applications with higher levels of solid particles.

  3. Cartridge Type (DWCF) – Back Flushing
    The DWCF series is equipped with a cartridge filter and uses a back-flushing mechanism similar to the DWBF model. It is designed for finer filtration needs and is ideal for applications where smaller contaminants need to be removed from the liquid stream.
